These come in two lengths. The standard length, which is pretty long, may have to be checked-in in a suitcase. It does allow for more variability though. The traveler's size, which is shorter, can literally fit in a back pack. With the traveler size you have to be a little more creative. I have both and decide on what to bring based on how much I have to pack.

Super Bands are basically giant rubber bands of varying resistances and thickness.

Val Slides are two separate pieces of hard plastic a little bigger than a pair of Size 10 sneakers with a type of padding on one end that allows you to either place your foot or hand on them so that you can slide away.

Using these pieces of equipment, you never have to worry about your fitness levels and not having to work out while traveling again. They are not too expensive, they are extremely portable, and best of all, they can be used in your hotel room.
