The Greatest Secret

The greatest secret is a little known fact that will subtlely shapes the lives of each and everyone of us if we let it.

Many trainers these days are very skilled and highly educated when it comes to knowing how to train their clients. There have been countless books and articles to date outlining different workouts, protocols and methods from periodization to macro sets, kettle bells to rope training. There are constantly ever improving ways to tone a bicep, improve cardiovascular endurance, run faster and jump higher.

We are bombarded in the media by products hocked on television that promise us flatter stomachs, tighter butts and slimmer thighs. We are constantly trying to find the right combination of physical exercises that will make us look and feel better.

The greatest secret, however, does not exist in our workout routines or those products on the infomercials. The greatest secret exists within our minds, and here it is:

The greatest secret is that we become what we think about all day long. What do you think about all day long? In order to change your life, your health or your future, you must first ask yourself, "What kind of thoughts do I have every day?" You must also know that what you think about will expand into action.

Do you have negative, anguishing, disparaging thoughts during the day? Or are you the type of person who turns every negative thought into a positive one, or are you somewhere in between?

If we become what we think about all day long, then in order to change behavior and thus the outcome of our lives, we must start with each thought we have. Keep the good ones and change the negative to positive. We teach this technique in our guaranteed weight loss programs, and I have seen it absolutely transform lives.

The beauty of the greatest secret is that every individual has complete control over their own thoughts. What we think is a choice that we alone make every day. If you are trying to improve your healthy, lose weight, look better, feel better or any combination of the above, give yourself permission to think better first.

Your mind is your best ally on your road to health. Please choose to use it positively. If enough people choose to think positively each day, then our positive thoughts may be able to change the consciousness of our planet. I don’t know if that is truly possible, but I think it is. Think big, you just may get what you are thinking about.
